A few useful tricks to deal with IP addresses, hostnames, and so on.

• To find the public IP address of your computer, use: curl ifconfig.me.
• To get all IP addresses associated with the network interfaces (infiniband, private and public IP address), use: hostname -I
• To find information about all network interfaces (ethernet, infiniband, public/private IP addresses), use: ip address
